Hi there,

I’m Naz— I create digital products that solve tough problems artfully.

I’m a product manager with an obsession for building “11-star” experiences, but also a knack for 0-to-1 type work. I’m currently working at Deel and living in Istanbul, Turkey (though I’ve previously lived and worked all over the US for years—🏙️ 🌴 🔔). I studied art history and architecture at Barnard College.

At Deel, I’m leading the Employer of Record vertical (where we will hire an employee in the local market on your behalf). In the past ~3 years I’ve been here, we’ve taken the product from a two-man <$10K MRR MVP on Google Sheets to a multi-team multi-million $ MRR scalable product.

It’s been the wildest product ride I’ve ever been on. It’s also served as proof that as long as you have the right team, remote international work is possible— even when you’re working on difficult problems.

Previously, I co-created an SMS chatbot called Emile (it was 2016 and bots were hot but it was pre-GPT). It worked as a friendly assistant that helps people go to bed early, so that they can spend their free time with more intention. It never became a raging commercial success, but it’s still operational if you’d like to give it a try.

I get a kick out of executing side quests with high production quality just for the fun of it. Most recently created a hot sauce brand with dad and designed furniture for our home (the closest I’ve come to actually practicing architecture, ha!)

Remembering how to use Rhino to design my home furniture + researching if AI could be applied to 3D modeling software to reduce the learning curve but still maintain the level of custom precision
